
Lee McVetta
Lee McVetta received his BFA with a concentration in Painting and Drawing and a double major in Art History from James Madison University in 1991 and an MA in Art History and Museum Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1996. While completing his master’s degree, Mr. McVetta worked in several regionally significant art galleries including Reynolds Gallery in Richmond, VA and Jack Rutberg Fine Arts in Los Angeles, CA. In 2000, Mr. McVetta was featured in the Los Angeles Times for designing a 14’ x 50’ mosaic mural for the retaining wall of one of the many historic staircases in the Hollywood Hills leading up to the Griffith Park Observatory. Since 2021 Lee McVetta has re-engaged with his background in the arts and started generating new creative output.
