Many of the concepts that I explore in my current paintings are extensions of those originally conceived in college or even high school.

There is only evolution. Our thoughts are directed by influence. Influence triggers inspiration. Inspiration breeds new expression. New expression influences thoughts.

I want my paintings to be more than mere subject matter representation. I want the viewer to see my touch. My paintings represent me as much as they represent the subject being painted.

Many of my “Musings” posts read as instructional guidance… for which I am my own primary audience. My hope is others may also find truth in my words.
